Korimako Trio (piano trio)

A new piano trio of familiar friends, with a name, inspired by the unique beauty and purity of the song of the Korimako/Bellbird. Helene Pohl – violin; Rolf Gjelsten – cello and Michael Endres – piano.

Helene and Rolf were members of the NZ String Quartet for many years. German/New Zealand pianist Michael Endres has been described by Richard Dyer of the Boston Globe as, “…one of the most interesting pianists recording today”. He has 33 recordings. Michael has previously played for Sunday Concerts, most recently with the violinist Mark Menzies.

How to buy tickets:

Single tickets are $40, or $10 for those under 26. A school child attending with an adult who has purchased a full-price ticket is free.
