Vesa and Friends (French horn, strings)

Vesa and Friends (French horn, strings)

Vesa has gathered an impressive group of friends, almost all principal players from the NZSO, to perform an exciting programme that shines a light on the sensational horn playing of Samuel Jacobs. The artists are: Vesa-Matti Leppänen (violin), Andrew Thomson (violin), Andrew Joyce (cello), Nicholas Hancox (Viola), Samuel Jacobs (French horn), and Ian Wildsmith (French horn).

As well as Mozart’s horn quintet, they will perform Beethoven’s rarely performed Sextet in E-flat Major which includes two horns.
