| Wilma Smith (violin), former Concertmaster of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and the NZSO, was a founding member of the NZSQ. She has appeared as Guest Concertmaster with all the major Australian symphony orchestras. Ian Munro is an Australian pianist, composer, writer and music educator. His career has taken him to over 30 countries in Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia. Anna Pokorny (cello) graduated from the University of Western Australia and undertook further studies at the International Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland. A recipient of numerous awards, she has played with the major orchestras in Australia and as a chamber musician in the Perth International Arts Festival and Metropolis Music Festival.
