Liam Wooding (solo piano)

Liam Wooding is a leading new NZ pianist, performing music across a variety of forms and genres. His first commercial recording Play Pen was released on the atoll label in 2019 and spent several weeks at the top of the Radio New Zealand Classical Music Charts. Liam played for Sunday Concerts in 2019 as a member of the Morton Trio.

Liam was a prize winner in the National Concerto Competition where he performed with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and has featured as a soloist with the Auckland Chamber Orchestra, Wellington Chamber Orchestra, and on several occasions with Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.

He is a graduate of the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Waikato where he researches New Zealand piano music.

This artist replaces Lorelle McNaughton who is unable to tour in 2021.

How to buy tickets:

Single tickets are $40, or $10 for those under 26. A school child attending with an adult who has purchased a full-price ticket is free.
